Since 2020 I enjoy playing guitar in a band named Melt. This provided me with the unique opportunity to create a logo and provide all the graphic material for the band. Although not being a graphic designer, I enjoy branding and making sure to provide a professional appearance in the hope this helps create more occasions to practice my true passion, music!
The shape of the logo is inspired by a Fender Jazzmaster guitar. This eventually led to the band's name being enclosed by curly brackets, a symbolic reference to the meaning of a band.
Social media enables us to gain more followers. Creating this video required mastering audio, animating the logo, and editing video images.
Being in the band is a very good teamwork exercise. Every time we practice, we communicate and improve each other while still keeping room for creativity and improvisation. Presenting this effort to other people is a truly rewarding experience.
